After a long while, the dance finally ended. Spyro and Cynder walked off to a quiet spot, and Cynder caught a glimpse of Bluebell leading Hunter by his paw into a place surrounded by trees. She sure liked leading Hunter by his paw…
As Cynder laid down beside Spyro, she noticed his sudden change of mood for the first time. Not long ago, he was so depressed that he was crying. Now, he was smiling and looking at the stars with a faraway look in his eyes. There seemed to be something on his mind, but she couldn’t tell what.
Cynder blushed a lot when she recalled what happened earlier. She couldn’t believe that she kissed the purple hero…and not only that, he kissed her back. Could he really love her? Even after all she’s done?
Spyro turned to look at her. He never noticed before, but in the moonlight, she seemed especially beautiful. After a few seconds, he realized he was staring at her and quickly averted his gaze.
“Cynder?” Cynder opened her eyes and looked at him. “Yes?” Spyro blushed slightly. “So what was with the um…kissing?” Cynder started blushing all over again, but in the moonlight, Spyro noticed. “I’m sorry Spyro…I just couldn’t help myself.” Cynder turned her head away in shame.
“It’s ok Cynder…I actually…enjoyed it…” Cynder looked at him with shock written all over her face. Spyro however was staring at the ground with his eyes barely open, smiling and blushing up a storm.
As Cynder looked on at him, she saw him raise one of his wings. Hesitantly, she slowly moved closer to him until she was completely under his wing. Spyro draped his warm wing over her, while Cynder rested her head on his shoulder.
For about five minutes, they stayed in that position. Eventually, Spyro looked down at Cynder. She was smiling and had her eyes closed, and she looked so beautiful…
The purple dragon gently licked the black dragoness on the forehead and down her muzzle, causing her to coo softly.
Once again they stayed in that position for a while until Cynder broke the silence. “Spyro?” “Yes Cynder?” “Well…back when the world was falling apart, did you hear the last thing I said?” Spyro blushed slightly and got up. He laid down in front of her and hugged her close. “Well, I think I heard something, but I’m not sure if I heard you right. Would you mind refreshing my memory?” Cynder could tell by the look on his face that he already knew.
Cynder got as close to him as she could and pressed her nose to his. “Spyro…I love you…” “I love you too.” Spyro started to turn his head slightly, expecting a kiss, but instead he felt Cynder slip out of his arms. He looked up at her, confused. “What’s wrong purple boy? Expecting a kiss?” Spyro slowly nodded. “Well, I have news for you . You can have your kiss…” She suddenly turned and ran as fast as she could. “…But you’ll have to catch me first!” Spyro smirked and ran after her.
They ran around laughing for a while, but eventually Spyro used his time powers to speed up until he was directly in front of her. He used the time to pounce on her so she was knocked on her back, then returned time to normal. Spyro pinned her to the ground, smirking evilly. Cynder however, had that same smirk on her face. She glanced down as if she wanted him to look down there. As Spyro looked, he only caught a brief glance at her hind legs before they crashed into his abdomen and sent him rocketing skywards. As he landed, he saw her run off again.
He quickly got up and ran after her again. “I’m going to catch you this time!” “We’ll see about that!” This time, when Spyro caught her, he scooped her off the ground and stood on his hind legs, hugging her close. He tightened his grip on her when she struggled, and smirked to himself. Eventually, Cynder decided that she couldn’t get out of that position without hurting him and stopped.
“Alright, you win.” “So do I get my reward?” “I‘ll think about it.” Spyro only looked at her. “I’m just kidding. You can have your reward.” Both dragons smiled and slowly leaned in, but they stopped when they heard something. The two dragons turned their heads to the direction of the sound, only to see a yellow light being chased by several other lights of different colors. They could hear Sparx screaming, even though he was quite far away. One light, which they assumed was one of his fan girls, caught him and all the other dragonflies were able to catch up with him. Spyro and Cynder laughed when they saw Sparx get pile driven.
Still giggling, Spyro and Cynder looked at each other lovingly. They slowly leaned in until their noses were touching, and gently kissed each other.

The new cheetah, Bluebell, eagerly lead Hunter by his paw to one of their favorite places they went when they were children. The cheetahs sat down on a big rock that was surrounded by vines. “Do you remember this place, Hunter?” “Of course I do…I can’t believe you can still remember.” “I can remember all the great moments of our childhood. Like I remember you getting stuck in that hole and I had to pull you out.” She pointed to a tiny cave, and Hunter blushed and scratched the back of his head.
“So, how did you manage to escape from the apes that attacked our village?” “I’m glad you asked. That’s what I wanted to talk to you about. But first…I need to show you something…” Bluebell slowly stood up and walked a short distance away. Hunter raised and eyebrow when he saw her start to untie her cape. He was confused as to why she was doing that, but then again, when they were dancing, she kept stopping to cover her back with it when it flared out.
When she completely untied her cape and let it fall to the ground, Hunter let out a startled gasp. On her back were three long unnaturally white stripes of fur that could only have been caused by a deep gash of some kind. They were so long that her shirt and skirt covered the ends of the stripes.
When Bluebell put her cape back on and sat back down beside him, she noticed Hunter still staring at her in shock. “What happened to you?!” “It’s a long story.” “I’ve got time.” Bluebell sighed and began.

Flashback…

In the valley, ten-year-old Hunter ran through the tall grass followed by eight-year-old Bluebell. “I’m going to catch you!” Bluebell yelled. “Oh no you won’t!” The cheetahs ran around laughing for a while, but cheetahs can only run very fast for short distances. Very soon, they had to stop and catch their breath.
As they sat down leaning against a tree, Bluebell sighed in defeat. “Oh come on Bluebell, don’t look so sad. You know I’m the fastest runner.” Hunter puffed out his chest proudly. “You may be, but I’m the best sword fighter.” “No you’re not!” Hunter said, getting up. “Come on, when was the last time you beat me?” In truth, Hunter could never recall a time when he had beaten her, but he didn’t want to admit it. “I can remember clearly. It was only a little while ago.” “You never beat me!” Bluebell stood up. “Yes I did!” “Did not!” “Did too!” “Did not!” “Did too!”
They argued like this for a while, but then Bluebell pulled her sword out. “Let’s just see who’s the best sword fighter!” Hunter pulled out his sword also.
They got into a big sword fight, but in truth, they were having fun. In the end, Hunter saw an open spot in Bluebell’s guard, but he couldn’t see where she put the sword. Before he could strike, he felt something hard press against his stomach. He didn’t need to look to know that it was Bluebell’s sword.
“I win!” Bluebell put her sword away and did a little victory dance. Hunter however put his sword away and stared at the ground. “Come on Hunter, don’t look so sad. You know you’re the fastest runner and the best at archery.” Bluebell said sweetly. In truth, she had a crush on him. “I know…but that’s not why I’m sad…” “What’s wrong?” “Well, if I tell you something, will you keep it a secret?” “Of course I will.” Well…I need to tell you that…” He placed his paw on her shoulder and grinned evilly. “You’re it!” He laughed and took off running, leaving Bluebell standing there in shock.
“Get back here!” Bluebell yelled, running after him. Hunter laughed and ran faster, but he wasn’t looking where he was going. He ended up running into a patch of dead trees where a minor fire had started and snagged his cape on a tree branch. It took a while to stop at that speed, so when he was able to bring himself to a halt he had a few more holes in his clothes.
“Now you see why I call you Patches?” Bluebell said, walking over to him. “I do now…my mom’s going to kill me…” “Maybe my mom can fix it for you.” Hunter was about to make a reply to Bluebell’s statement, but something green and shiny caught his eye. What would something green be doing in an area of burnt trees?
He walked over to the spot, but Bluebell stayed where she was. After snagging his cape again, he saw that the green shinny thing was a spirit gem growing out of the ground. He had never seen one before, so that was new to him.
“Hey Blue! Come look at this!” Bluebell made her way through the stiff tree branches, snagging her sleeve on one in the process. She was about to yell at him for making her come through there and snag her sleeve, but was left speechless when she saw them gem. “It’s beautiful…”
Hunter rolled his eyes. Sometimes he really hated having a girl for a best friend. “I think it’s one of those weird dragon gems. They’re supposed to do stuff like give them power and heal them.”  “Cool!” Hunter grabbed a rock and smashed it into the gem. “Hunter! What are you doing?!” As an answer, he grabbed a piece of the gem that fell off when he hit it and tossed to her. “What do you want me to do with this?” “Keep it. You like ‘pretty things’, right?” Bluebell blushed. “Thank you!” She gently kissed him on the cheek. Hunter’s eyes widened and he immediately starting wiping it off. “Ewwwwwwww! Are you trying to give me cootiees!?” “Cootiees from kisses? Maybe I should give you more!” Hunter ran out the forest as fast as he could without snagging himself, but when he was about to run at full speed, he bumped into something that wasn’t there before.
When he looked up, he saw the biggest ape he had ever seen staring at him angrily. Hunter was so scared that he was frozen in place and nearly wet himself. The ape smirked evilly and got out some rope, then reached for Hunter. When Bluebell came out, she screamed so loud it broke Hunter out of his trance.
The ape dropped the rope and covered its ears, and Hunter used the time to slam his blade into its stomach. The ape suddenly stood still staring blankly at the forest. When Hunter removed his blade, the ape groaned and fell to its knees before collapsing completely.
“Hunter…look…” Bluebell said, gripping his arm tightly and pointing to the direction of the village. When he looked, he saw Apes, Dread wings, and Death Hounds running out of the forest. They had quietly snuck through the forest and jumped out in a sneak attack instead of just flying through the sky and dropping down like they usually do. Not only that, the Apes were throwing fireballs on the houses.
Immediately, the cheetahs started going to battle. Bluebell and Hunter tried to find a safe spot, but more Apes and their minions were coming toward them.
Hunter and Bluebell tried to run away, but a huge Dread Wing blocked their path. Bluebell and Hunter immediately got out their weapons, but the Dread Wing was already lunging for Bluebell. She slashed her sword in front of her, giving the Dread Wing a large gash across its nose. The Dread Wing took a few steps back, and Hunter fired an arrow at its head. Much to Hunter’s surprise, the arrow pierced the creature’s skin, but didn’t go any further. Unknown to Hunter, Dread Wings have very thick skulls to protect their small brains, and it would take a whole lot more than an arrow to break it.
This time, the Dread Wing lunged for Hunter, and he fired an arrow right into the center of its chest.  Hunter’s eyes widened when the massive Dread Wing landed on top of him. He was expecting it to get up and kill him, but it never moved.
Bluebell managed to pull the half crushed cheetah out from under the Dread Wing’s massive body. “Thanks…” Hunter said, gasping for breath. “You’re welcome…LOOK OUT!” Hunter looked behind him only to see a Death Hound about to crash into him. Using his speed, he moved out the way and the Death Hound crashed head first into a rock and smashed it to pieces. Hunter was about to fire an arrow into the dizzy beast, but Bluebell fired one into it before he got the chance.
Before Bluebell and Hunter could try to run away again, something fell from the sky and crashed in front of them. Panicking, the cheetahs coughed as dust filled their lungs and clouded their vision. Hunter heard a scream as an ape grabbed Bluebell, and two seconds after that, an ape grabbed him.
Hunter thrashed around wildly trying to get away, but the ape only laughed and tried to tie him up. In one last desperate attempt, He jammed his sword into the ape’s thigh. The ape let out a bone chilling yell, and Hunter squirmed out of its grasp. He fired several arrows into it, instantly taking its life. He took a quick look around to see if he could find Bluebell, but more things fell from the sky and clouded his vision.

Bluebell struggled to get out of the ape’s grasp. The ape only squeezed her tighter and got out some rope to tie her up. Bluebell gave the Ape a strong kick to the groin, which caused it to suck in its breath and loosen his grip on her. She may be a child, but cheetahs can deliver a powerful kick when they have to.
She grabbed her sword and thrust it into the Ape’s gut, ending its life. Her sensitive ears swiveled behind her, and she turned to find a Death Hound growling at her. She raised her sword ready to take its life, but she didn’t realize it was a trick. Behind her in a cloud of dust, a Dread Wing was stalking her. As Bluebell raised her sword above the Death Hound, the Dread Wing raised its wing and struck her with its long wing blades.
Bluebell screamed and fell over. She turned her head to see the Dread Wing grinning evilly at her. The Ape on its back jumped down and started to tie her up. Bluebell screamed as it did so, because the pain in her back was killing her, and the Ape roughly pulling her paws behind her back and tying her wrists and ankles together didn’t help. By the time the Dread Wing roughly picked her up and carried her off like an owl with a mouse, she was crying.

Hunter looked around franticly for her while also keeping a lookout for enemies. After defeating a Death Hound, his ears turned toward a faint sound. He looked in the direction of the sound, only to see his worst fear: a Dread Wing was carrying off a small blue cheetah, by the sound of the crying he could tell it was Bluebell. He prepared to fire an arrow, but then he realized that it was too far away. Besides, they were pretty high up, and Bluebell probably wouldn’t survive the fall.

After a long while, the remaining enemies retreated from what was left of the village. The remaining cheetahs gathered together, and looked at the village sadly. The apes had managed to burn everything down, and Hunter, Prowlus, and a few other male cheetahs were left out of dozens.
Hunter slowly walked over with tears in his eyes. He just wanted to lock himself in his room, but all that was left of it was a pile of ashes. A tall male cheetah came over and hugged Hunter tight. “It’s ok Hunter…it’s all over now…” “But Dad…they took Blue…and Mom…everyone’s gone…” The heart broken cheetah hugged his father tightly, crying uncontrollably.

A few miles away, Bluebell was still being carried by the massive Dread Wing. She had managed to stop crying, but the pain in her back was intense.
About an hour later, the Dread Wings landed in a forest. Hidden among the trees was a large building that was enough to cause Bluebell to squeal in fright.
The Dread Wing that carried her roughly landed on the ground, nearly mashing her in the process. The Ape on its back jumped down and lead the Dread Wing through a door where the others were heading to, then lead the Death Hounds they had carried back through another door. It then came back and smirked at Bluebell. It picked her up and slung her across its shoulder as if she were a sack of potatoes, then walked through a third door.
Inside the building, there were green crystals growing out the wall that seemed to be the only source of light. With her limited vision, she could see other apes carrying other tied up cheetahs also.
The Apes walked into a long hall that had jail cells on either side. To Bluebell’s horror, the Ape that carried her opened a jail cell and threw her inside. As she landed on the cold, damp floor, she began to cry.
The Ape did something in the cell connected to hers, then came inside hers and kicked her in the stomach. “Shut up!” Bluebell did her best not to cry, but it was extremely hard not to. “What…*sniff* are you *sniff* doing to do *sniff* with me? *sniff*” The Ape rolled its eyes.
“Well, let me put it in simple terms so your puny whelp mind can understand. You see, everything eats to live, which you never seemed to figure out.” The Ape stared at her thin form in disgust. Bluebell didn’t eat much, and it showed plainly. “This valley has lots of food. But lately, we’ve been sent to places that don’t have a lot of food. So we simply take the food from the places that have it, and save it until we go to a place that doesn’t have food. Understand?” “But…I’m a Cheetah! I’m not food!” The Ape threw its head back and let out a menacing laugh. “Oh course you are! Death Hounds and Dread Wings love Cheetahs, especially young ones and females. The Dread Wings can fly a long way to get food in a short time, so we feed you creatures to the Death Hounds.”
“But…*sniff* I thought you said I was skinny!” “You are, but we’ll just have to fatten you up.” “I won’t eat a thing!” “Stubborn, aren’t we? If you won’t eat, we’ll have to force it into you.”
The Ape suddenly grabbed her head in its big paw and turned it toward the cell next to hers. She could see a pair of multi colored eyes with no pupils or irises staring back at her. “Whelp, I’d like to introduce you to Snaggle Tooth.” Snaggle Tooth snarled at her almost on command, obviously a Death Hound. “He’s going to keep you company. Once we need you, you’ll be joining him for dinner.” Bluebell sucked in her breath and shivered.
“By the way, he has the key, so don’t even think about escaping. If you even try to get that key, you’ll join him for dinner much sooner.” The Ape released her head and walked out of the cell laughing. Even when it locked the door and walked down the hall, its laugh echoed in her mind.

For what seemed like hours, Bluebell cried. She just wanted it all to be a nightmare where she wakes up in her soft warm bed. She felt really tired because her wound hadn’t completely stopped bleeding.
At one point, Bluebell stopped crying. She was still scared, no doubt, but her wounds had numbed somehow. Should she try getting out?
She sat up and turned around, looking at her paws. She quickly turned around when her back started to hurt again, and she couldn’t see a thing anyway. It was then she remembered the gem Hunter gave her. Using her tail, she prodded her pocket until the gem slipped out and rolled to the floor. The gem glowed unnaturally, and provided a little light.
Using her natural flexibility, she turned around and started to chew the ropes. The pain in her back was intense, so she had to stop often.
After a long while, she was able to loosen the knot to the point where she could pull it apart with her teeth and wiggle free. Now that she had her paws free, it wasn’t nearly as difficult to untie her hind paws. She picked up them gem and kissed it. “Thank you Hunter…” She whispered to herself.
The young cheetah looked around the cave with curiosity. The Apes weren’t that smart, so there had to be a way out. Using the gem as a flashlight, she examined the walls for holes or cracks of some kind. Nothing. The walls were solid.
Sitting down with tears in her eyes, her thoughts raced. Surely there was some way out, or else she would become dog food. She tapped her claws impatiently on the dirt floor. Come on! Hunter didn’t call her Miss Smarty-Pants for nothing. Surely she could think of something before it was too late.
All of a sudden, the Death Hound let out a low moan and rolled over in its sleep. It had been watching her cry in amusement but eventually got tired and went to sleep.
She suddenly stood up and winced in pain when a bolt of pain shot up her back. When she heard Snaggle Tooth, she remembered when Hunter had gotten out of the way a split second before a Death Hound could head butt him. It slammed head first into a rock, and broke a large chunk off of it. Surely rocks are much harder than the bars of the cell, right?
Gathering up all her courage, she puffed out her chest and gathered as much insults as she could think of. “Hey Dog Breath!”  Snaggle Tooth stirred in its sleep and groaned in irritation. “HEY DOG BREATH!!” This time, the irritated Death Hound woke up and got to its feet. “Boy, you sure are ugly!” Snaggle Tooth raised an eyebrow, shocked that the same cheetah that was crying a moment ago would stoop to insulting him. “Yeah, you heard me! I’ve seen POOP that looks better than you!” Snaggle Tooth backed up and snarled angrily. “Your breath smells just like it! It makes me want to faint! And guess what? I can insult you all day you can’t do a thing about it!” She turned around and shook her behind at the shocked Death Hound.
Snaggle Tooth let out an ear piercing howl and backed up as far as he could. He was going to end this once and for all. Growling furiously, he lunged for the iron bars with impossible speed, and smashed head first into the bars, bending them severely. The dizzy Death Hound shook itself off and backed up again, determined to shatter the flexible metal. This time, he crashed head first into the metal and smashed it to pieces.
Bluebell backed up as far as she could, but Snaggle Tooth’s gaze fell everywhere except on her as it staggered. With a wine, the dizzy beast fell on its side.
Bluebell let out a sigh of relief. For a minute there, she thought she was a goner. As she searched Snaggle Tooth, clearly unconscious, she found the key on a chain hanging from its neck. She wanted to leave, but she was afraid Snaggle Tooth would wake up. The Apes took her weapons, so she had nothing to kill him with.
Her eyes wandered over to Snaggle Tooth’s open mouth. As discusting as it was, she would have to use one of his teeth. The teeth were sharp, and would take less time than if she used her claws.
Placing her paws on a big, slobbery tooth, she pulled with all her might. It wiggled, but stayed in him jaw. Shuddering, she used her claws to tear at the skin around the tooth to loosen the tooth. This time when she pulled, the tooth came out with a sucking sound and she fell on her back. She quickly got up with tears in her eyes when the pain in her wounds returned.
After waiting for a moment for the pain to die down, she jammed the tooth into the Death Hound’s stomach and drove it in as far as she could. It took a lot of strength to get through the tough skin, but eventually Snaggle Tooth’s breathing stopped and he lay still.
Bluebell quickly wiped her paws on the bars of the cell and nearly threw up when the smell of blood mixed with Snaggle Tooth’s breath reached her sensitive nose. She quickly unlocked the cell with the key and got out to get at least a little fresh air.
Gasping for breath, she looked around to find a hallway illuminated by light. Walking over quietly and trying not to cry from the pain in her back, she stalked down the hallway, only to find a guard leaning against the wall next to a torch. She covered her mouth to quiet a scream, but the Ape only groaned slightly and snored.
She let out a sigh of relief. That’s why the Death Hounds had the keys…the guards kept falling asleep on the job and could sleep through a war if they could. Bluebell carefully removed the torch from the wall, but the Ape never even moved. Smiling to herself, she quietly walked away, taking careful steps to minimize the pain.
When she came back to the cells where the cheetahs were being kept, she saw their shocked faces staring at her. A few were able to untie themselves, but the majority of them were still tied up. A cheetah was about to speak, but Bluebell put a finger on her lips, signaling him to be quiet.
After walking down another long hall near the Dread Wings, she found a large closet with extra weapons in it. She smirked to herself and picked up a heavy mace, but struggled to carry it back to the jail cells.
She put the torch on a hole in the wall, and stared at a lock on a cell. Wincing in pain, she smashed the mace into the lock on one of the cell doors. The lock bent, but didn’t break. Sighing to herself, she smashed it into the lock several more times. Before she could hit it a sixth time, it fell to the floor. They eager cheetah rushed out. “There’s some weapons in a closet at the end of the hall. Get some maces to break the locks with.” The cheetah nodded and ran down the hall barely making a sound.
By the time the cheetah came back with two maces, a bow, and a quiver of arrows on its back,  Bluebell had smashed a lock off another cell. That cheetah ran down to get some weapons, and Bluebell caught her breath. “Just rest for a while. Take this in case you have to fight.” The cheetah said, handing her a bow and quiver full of arrows. “I can’t take that…” She said, clutching her ripped cape. “Why? It’s dangerous out here.” She walked over to the light from a torch with her back turned to him, hearing a gasp. Her green cape had a large red spot surrounding three long holes, so it was clear that she was hurt. “My God…you just rest.” Bluebell did as she was told, and the other cheetahs worked on getting everyone out.
At one point, the Ape that had been sleeping came in. It never got to take a good look around before a cheetah jumped on it and gagged it, and several other cheetahs killed it before it made a sound.

A half hour later, all the cheetahs escaped from their cells, leaving the confused Death Hounds growling at them. Bluebell was about to get up, but before she could, another cheetah picked her up gently and put her over his shoulder so he wouldn’t hurt her back. At first she didn’t know who it was because she never got a look at his face, but when she heard him say something, she knew it was her dad. She wanted to hug him, but she couldn’t in that position.
Fully armed, the cheetahs ran out of the building, headed for the large door they came in through. The cheetahs wasted no time firing arrows into the Guards. Then, as quick as lightning, they ran out throwing torches everywhere to get rid of the place once and for all.
A few Dread Wings, Death Hounds, and Apes followed them. The Death Hounds and Dread Wings were locked up so they don’t escape, so a lot of them died in their cell. A lot of Apes were sleeping on the job and didn’t notice the fire in time.
In no time at all, the remaining enemies were gone along with the fortress. Bluebell smiled to herself, glad that it was finally over.
By nightfall, the cheetahs arrived at the village only to find it completely deserted. Not only had the ashes blown away, it looked like no one had ever set foot there before. Bluebell’s heart nearly stopped. “Hunter’s gone?” “I’m afraid so…” Bluebell’s dad replied. Blubell couldn’t stop the flood of tears that erupted from her eyes.

         End Flashback

Hunter stared at Bluebell in shock. “…All that happened?” Bluebell sighed. “Yup…it’s all true. Just ask anyone.” She looked at Hunter with a warm smile on her face. “I’m just glad I finally found you…” Huter blushed, and Bluebell giggled. “Come here…” Hunter did as he was told, and Bluebell pulled him into a big, warm, hug. Hunter smiled to himself, but then their ears turned toward the sound of Chief Prowlus‘s voice.
“Sounds like Prowlus…no one calls everyone for a meeting in such a bossy manner.” They laughed at Blubell’s comment and went to the village. Hunter didn’t even realize that Bluebell was once again holding his paw.

Chief Prowlus stood in the center of the village, calling attention. “Would Spyro and Cynder please come forward?” Blushing at the sudden attention, Spyro and Cynder walked toward him. “Spyro, you have done more for this world than the entire population combined could have. Without you, none of us would be here. And we would be honored if you’ll allow us to give you a small token of accpreciation.” Prowlus reached behind his cape and pulled out a gold metal. Bending down, he placed it on Spyro’s neck before standing up and looking at Cynder.
“Cynder, for years, you have been known as the Terror of the Skies.” Cynder frowned a little. “But to us, you will always be known as the Savior of the Skies.” Like he did with Spyro, he bent down and placed a gold metal around her neck and stood back up.
“Hey! What about me?! Don’t I get a reward?!” Sparx said, buzzing around his head. Prowlus sighed. “Sparx, we would like to thank you for leading us through the underground tunnels. We wouldn’t have survived out there.” Prowlus reculatly placed a metal the size of a coin around Sparx’s neck. “Woo! I finally get what I deserve!” He did a little victory dance, but them took off as fast as he could when he saw his fan girls approaching.
Spyro chuckled and looked at his metal. It had a dragon in the middle that looked kind of like him that was colored with tiny purple gems, surrounded by a border of abstract designs. Cynder’s metal had a dragon engraved in the center that looked like her set with small black gems, and had a border of perals and colorful gems around it.
“It’s beautiful…” Cynder said, awestruck at the beauty of the gem. “It’s not as beautiful as the one wearing it.” Spyro said, admiring her black scales. Cynder looked at him with love in her eyes and walked closer to him.
When Prowlus saw the two dragons lean in and kiss each other, he adverted his gaze. The other cheetahs awed, the Guardians smiled, and Sparx pried a fan girl’s fingers off his thin frame so he could throw up somewhere private.
When Spyro and Cynder broke the kiss, they blushed up the storm when they realized what they had done in public. Prowlus cleared his throat and raised his hand, signaling everyone to be quiet. “Would Bluebell and Hunter please step forward?” Bluebell let go of Hunter’s paw and they stepped forward. “Hunter, if you hadn’t guided the dragons in their journey, they may not have made it.” Prowlus placed a gold metal around Hunter’s neck, and turned to Bluebell.
“Bluebell, for your brave and brilliant escape plan that brought the entire village back together, you will also recive a reward.” Prowlus also placed a gold metal around her neck.
Both metals had a paw print engraved in the center, but Bluebell’s had an abstract border of gems and pearls around it.. Any reward given with a paw print was the highest of its kind. “Everyone, let us give our heroes a round of applause!” Everyone clapped and cheered, making the heroes blush.
The cheetahs spent a long time congratulating them, but the population slowly declined as they went home for the night. Bluebell walked over to Hunter and hugged him tight. As Hunter hugged her back, he saw his mom hugging his dad. His eyes lit up brightly, because he hadn’t seen her since the raid on the village. Bluebell noticed and giggled. “I’ll see you later Hunter…I mean, Patches.” She stood on the tips of her toes and gently kissed him on the cheek before walking away. Before she went into a house, she turned around and winked at him. Hunter blushed and touched the spot on his cheek where she kissed him, smiling slightly.
Prowlus came over and put a paw on Hunter’s shoulder, observing his mom and dad. “It seems the family is back together…little brother.”
Ok, it's edited now, so feel free to point out any mistakes I missed. ^^;
There's a couple things I'd like to point out here. One, when all the female cheetahs and children were kidnapped, it wasn't to make them seem weak. Like in the story, it said that Dread Wings and Death Hounds love females and children, because the meat is softer and has a better taste to it. It's also the best meat for young Death Hounds and Dread Wings.
Also, anyone ever notice how on the game that all the cheetahs are male, and if there's any of the same color, they look the same? The children and females were the goal, so they just left those few cheetahs and left. Hunter and a few other children had managed to hide. The ones that looked the same were related.
Also, I know that all the stuff Hunter and Bluebell did was a lot for a 8-year-old and 10-year-old to accomplish, but cheetahs are trained at a young age for times like this, so they fight well. And also, Bluebell's just plain smart, and also has a smart mouth XD
There's another part to this, but it's short, so it will be out soon.

This story is the definition of a Spyro X Cynder story. I love this couple so much and I love how it ended. Thanks for making this fanfic man
